A Spring Equinox immersion of self-alignment and peacemaking in the Aloha Way

Ho’oponopono Workshop & Spring Celebrations

On the Island of Hawai’i in Pepe’ekeo

With the world-renowned Hawaiian Wisdom Keeper,

Kumu Ramsay Taum

Thank you rains for your blessings and nourishment. We tend the fertile grounds and give praise for abundance. We welcome you sun, as the moon turns red. A new cycle begun, may all beings be fed.

As the wheel of time turns towards Spring, we welcome a moment of renewal, rebirth and celebration. As the day and night come into perfect equilibrium, we too seek to find right alignment within. Guided by the ancient practices of Ho’oponopono we allow inner peace to awaken within. Letting go of what no longer serves, we weed our inner garden making space for our natural brilliance to shine through. Allowing our joy to flow like the gushing springs, we celebrate all blooms of life.

Our Teachings

Workshop: March 23rd, 2024
HO'OPONOPONO: Me, My Selves, and the "I" Returning to Truth Beyond Limits

Kumu Ramsay Taum will guide us in the practice of Ho‘oponopono as it was taught to him by Kahuna La'au Lapa'au Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona. Ho‘oponopono is an ancient process of reconciliation, forgiveness, and peacemaking that helps release, cleanse, and transmute barriers and obstacles to peace, love, and prosperity rooted in ancestral memory. Each of us has our own ‘blueprint’; our own truth. Disease, discomfort, distress, and disorder are symptoms we experience when we are no longer living according to that truth by trying to live someone else’s truth. Ho‘oponopono is the Hawaiian healing process of re-establishing balance and truth.

This guided experience by Kumu Ramsay focuses on the deeper meaning of this practice that is rooted in Hawaiian spirituality, cultural thought, and principles -- a meaning that is sometimes lost in translation or overlooked when reduced to a sound bite or simple mantra that has been popularized with Ho‘oponopono. Kumu Ramsay's program is intended to reaffirm and establish a deeper understanding of the spiritual principles embedded in Ho’oponopono which make it an effective life-transforming practice.

Spring Equinox Hui: March 24th, 2024
An Ode to Hina

In the Hawaiian Wheel, as passed down to us by Kahu Kalani Souza, the Spring Equinox is correlated to the direction of East, the element of Earth, the concept of rebirth, the archetype of the Mother, and the 1st phase of water: Springs. This celestial event initiates the end of Makahiki and the beginning of Kauwela - the dry season in Hawai’i. A time for celebration and abundance as the seeds begin to grow and the Earth reawakens.

On this special day of a full moon lunar eclipse, we gather on the Eastern most point of the Hilo/Hamakua coast at the lands of the Dragon Heart amidst the springs and the ocean, in celebration of the rebirth of the earth as we honor Hina, the Mother Goddess of Abundance and the changing tides. We celebrate the day from sunrise to moonrise through prayers, chants, offerings, live music, art creation, cove dips and so much more…

Time: 6am-6pm

What previous students share…

  • "The Warrior Priest retreat was truly a profound and transformational experience. From the opening ceremonies, the teachings, meals and the moments in between — it was pristinely orchestrated. Myself as a life long martial artist and on the path of healing and service - the Ho’oponopono and Lua teachings made a big impact in my perspective of what it means to be a warrior, a protector, and a vessel for healing and transformation in my life and those who’s life I touch. Kumu Ramsay is a masterful teacher, always guiding each individual into their own truth and the team was truly incredible. This was an experience of a life time and I know it’s gifts will continue to ripple in my life as time unfolds. I feel motivated, inspired and hold an even deeper connection to the sacredness of this land and the path I am walking."

  • “It is hard to put into words how beautiful and powerful it was to experience The Way of The Warrior Priest led by Kumu Ramsay Taum. A few words can offer only a glimpse: Life altering, Awakening, Transformative, and Connective. It was truly a time of convergence to be at the right place, at the right time with those who were called to this journey led by Kumu Ramsay. From his guidance and teachings of Ho’oponopono to the basics of Lua we were able to draw powerful life lessons that if practiced and applied would allow us to live a life with more courage, empathy, compassion, love, and Aloha towards ourselves, then naturally towards others. We are at a critical time in human existence where I truly believe the wisdom and practice of our ancestors are vitally important to restore Lōkahi (harmony) to our world. Every opportunity I have to spend time with and to learn from Kumu Ramsay I consider a true blessing. Mahalo nui e Kumu!“
