Welcome
Our Journey
As the wheel of the year turns towards Autumn, we honor the fire that ignites life. We bow to the setting sun of the west, and pay respects to the Kane (male) principle within all things.
We welcome you to join us in a deep journey of heart alignment, reconciliation and inner strength as we call upon the teachings of the Warrior Priest to guide our way.
Through the practices of Lua (Hawaiian Martial Arts), Ho’oponopono, Elemental Meditation, the Aloha Way, and the Lunar Calendar — we unify our body, mind and spirit. Supporting us in showing up in a good way for what matters most — our lands, our families, our health, our purpose.
Through the guidance of our Kumus (teachers) we huaka’i (journey) to the wahi pana (cultural & historical sites of power) important to the Warrior Priests of the past. To sit with and learn from their teachings, mo’olelos (legends), and Mana (life force energy). Offering our gratitude, prayers, and respect as we welcome in a new season of life.
Our Prayer
This is an incredible opportunity to sit with and learn from two of the most well-respected Hawaiian Wisdom Keepers of our time. To receive direct transmission and learnings dating back to very ancient times. To when peace prevailed and Aloha was truly a way of life.
As the tides of time brings us greater challenges of environmental, social and political nature; it is our prayer our work together strengthens our resiliency of mind, body and spirit. So we may show up strong in our hearts of Aloha in support of the places and people in need.

Lua
Guided by Kumu Ramsay Taum, a world-renowned Kumu Lua & cultural ambassador — we evoke the teachings of the Warrior Priest through the practice of Lua (Hawaiian Martial Arts), and how it supports us in navigating the physical and emotional challenges of personal life and the world at large. This practice is used to connect and unify the mind, body, and spirit. Kumu Ramsay will share and demonstrate the basic principles, concepts, and application of this unique ancient cultural battle system which creates new ways of being in relationship with the world.
Ho’oponopono
Kumu Ramsay Taum will guide us in the practice of Ho‘oponopono as it was taught to him by Kahuna La'au Lapa'au Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona. Ho‘oponopono is an ancient process of reconciliation, forgiveness, and peacemaking that helps release, cleanse, and transmute barriers and obstacles to peace, love, and prosperity rooted in ancestral memory. Each of us has our own ‘blueprint’; our own truth. Disease, discomfort, distress, and disorder are symptoms we experience when we are no longer living according to that truth by trying to live someone else’s truth. Ho‘oponopono is the Hawaiian healing process of re-establishing balance and truth.
This guided experience by Kumu Ramsay focuses on the deeper meaning of this practice that is rooted in Hawaiian spirituality, cultural thought, and principles -- a meaning that is sometimes lost in translation or overlooked when reduced to a sound bite or simple mantra that has been popularized with Ho‘oponopono. Kumu Ramsay's program is intended to reaffirm and establish a deeper understanding of the spiritual principles embedded in Ho’oponopono which make it an effective life-transforming practice.
Lunar Calendar
Kahu Kalani Souza, a world-renowned Hawaiian practitioner & cross-cultural facilitator — guides us through the wisdom of the Hawaiian Lunar Calendar and the current Cycles of Time, as it was passed down to him by his lineage of ancestors. This elemental map encompasses all facets of life. From spiritual to practical, personal, relational and environmental. Weaving a web of interconnectedness which supports us in walking in better alignment with place and all relations.
The Aloha Way
Throughout all teachings is the Aloha Way. A way of life, a way of heart, a way of mind. Deeply rooted in establishing balance and harmony within all relations. These principles and protocols can be applied to all aspects of life. From building a business to maintaining personal relationships and tending to land. Aloha guides the way.
Elemental Meditation
Barbara Rose Eden harnesses from her 26 years of study in energy medicine, meditation, embodiment practices, ritual & oracular rites to guide us in immersive meditations within the diverse elements of the Island of Hawai’i. Supporting us in directly experiencing the teachings being shared. As we call upon our own intuitive wisdom, by communing and directly learning from the natural intelligence of our our bodies and the wild untamed.
Huaka’i
Together we journey West — the direction correlated to the season of Fall in the Hawaiian Elemental Wheel. Guided by our Kumus (teachers) we visit several sites of important cultural and historical value to the Hawaiian people and the great Warrior Priests of the past. In honor, humility and respect, we receive the teachings of these wahi pana (places of power) through mo’olelos (legends) and meditations as we offer our gratitude in a good way.
Fire Keeping
Keahi Tajon, whose first name literally translates to “The Fire”, will be anchoring this elemental force for us during our time together. By building a fire in the traditional Hawaiian way at our opening circle, and tending to the flames with music, stories & teachings throughout the week - we will deepen into the fire’s wisdom & potential as we welcome the season correlated to this element.
